Kevin has traveled to the US-Mexico border three times since Joe Biden was elected President and met with U.S. Border Patrol and customs officials about the immigration crisis. His visits to the Border Patrol Sectors of Yuma (AZ), Tucson (AZ) and Del Rio (TX) have given him the first-hand knowledge and insight to be a valuable, informed advocate for tougher immigration policies.

Kevin believes we have the most broken border in American history and rampant abuse of our asylum laws. He knows the blame for this fiasco falls squarely on the shoulders of one person - President Joe Biden.

Biden is on track to allow an estimated 8 million illegals and migrants into the United States over his four-year term. By comparison, the population of the state of South Carolina is just 5.2 million.

Kevin is the first to admit that a single Member of Congress cannot stop the debacle we see at our southern border.

The most important priority to regain control of our southern border is to elect President Trump.  It will take a new President with new policies and a much different attitude - discouraging illegal immigration, not welcoming it – to stem the tide. Only by the reimplementation of Trump border policies such as Remain in Mexico and Expedited Removal authority will we begin to regain control of the situation.

Kevin will support President Trump’s efforts to reinstitute the border policies he deployed in his first term. They worked before and they will work again. He will also support President Trump’s efforts to deport illegal immigrants who have broken and abused our laws to gain admittance into our country.

Kevin will support the completion of the border wall as well as supporting additional miles of fencing. In his visit to the Tucson Sector in 2021, he saw first-hand how Biden’s Executive Order to stop construction of the border fence was among the dumbest decisions in American history.

Since Joe Biden became President the costs of groceries, gas, and dining out have gone up 25 percent. Increased prices on everyday items at the grocery store and gas pump hit the family budget hard.As a father of four, Kevin knows this problem all too well. He is committed to getting our nations’ fiscal house in order and will work with President Trump to support policies which restrain spending and grow our economy. Kevin supports the extension of the tax cuts President Trump passed in his first term. He will also oppose any efforts to expand or extend President Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act which actually created additional inflationary pressure and led to higher prices for consumers. While Kevin is a strong supporter of a smaller government and fiscal responsibility, once the decision is made to spend federal dollar’s he will work to ensure the Third District is treated fairly by the Washington bureaucrats.Kevin will partner with our towns, cities, counties, communities, and local organizations to pursue federal funding from grants and other avenues. He will request funding for projects - particularly when the Washington bureaucrats ignore the needs of the District.

Kevin doesn’t just believe in the Right to Life he has worked to help achieve some of the biggest pro-life legislative victories. As a top aide to Senator Lindsey Graham, Kevin played an active role in the Senate confirmations of Supreme Court Justices Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett, Neil Gorsuch, Samuel Alito, and Chief Justice John Roberts. These justices later gave us the Supreme Court Dobbs decision which returned the issue of Life back to the people. Before that Kevin played a supporting role in efforts to pass the Partial Birth Abortion Ban and Unborn Victims of Violence Act. As Representative from the Third District, Kevin will move from a supporting role helping pass pro-life legislation to voting in support of pro-life legislation. 

In 2016, Kevin toured and broke bread with the residents of Kfar Aza, a kibbutz in southern Israel. On October 7, 2023, this would become the scene of unspeakable atrocities and violence against innocent Israelis by the Hamas terrorist organization. An estimated 70 Hamas fighters attacked the kibbutz located less than 2 miles from the Israel-Gaza border. By the time the attack was over 52 Israelis were dead and another 20 were missing or taken hostage. The terror militants even took women, children, and senior citizens back to Gaza as hostages. As our Representative, Kevin will be one of the strongest supporters of Israel in the U.S. House of Representatives. Unlike President Biden and some Democrats in Congress, Kevin supports the Israeli government taking steps to eradicate the threat posed by Hamas or other affiliated terrorist groups. Kevin also understands and appreciates the important role Israel has played in helping disrupt and prevent terrorist attacks against Americans and other peace-loving peoples. Israel is a very close ally and friend. Kevin will also work to cut funding to higher education institutions which promote anti-Semitism on campus.
